Amazon Review Research Template for Product Teams
A simple framework product teams can use to organize Amazon review research into themes, evidence, and actions.
Why teams need a template
Review research can become messy quickly. A template keeps insights traceable, makes repeated themes easier to compare, and helps teams turn raw comments into product decisions.
Suggested columns
Use columns for ASIN, product name, rating, review date, review excerpt, theme, sentiment, buyer use case, severity, frequency, suggested action, and owner.
Suggested themes
Start with durability, usability, fit, compatibility, packaging, instructions, price/value, appearance, support, and missing features. Add category-specific themes as the research develops.
Turn research into action
Every important theme should lead to a decision: fix the product, update the listing, test a claim, ask a supplier, create a bundle, or avoid the niche.
