Can You Export Amazon Product Reviews from Seller Central?
Understand what Seller Central provides for product reviews, Seller Feedback, Voice of the Customer, and row-level review exports.
By AMZShark Editorial Team · Published
Seller Central helps eligible sellers monitor customer reviews, but it should not be treated as a universal bulk downloader for raw product-review text. Amazon's interfaces and eligibility rules change, so verify the current controls in your account before promising a particular report to a team or client.
Three kinds of customer feedback
The word “reviews” is often used for three different datasets:
- Product reviews are attached to an ASIN and discuss the product.
- Seller Feedback evaluates the buying, fulfillment, or service experience.
- Voice of the Customer and Customer Feedback insights identify topics and experience signals at an ASIN or category level.
Exporting one does not substitute for exporting another. A Seller Feedback report will not provide a clean competitor product-review corpus, and review-topic insights are not equivalent to every underlying review row.
What the official Customer Reviews tool does
Amazon describes its Customer Reviews tool as a place for eligible brands to monitor reviews, report reviews that violate policy, and contact customers where the feature permits. Start with Amazon's current Customer Reviews tool documentation. Availability can depend on Brand Registry, selling plan, marketplace, role, and account status.
What the Customer Feedback API provides
Amazon's Selling Partner API includes a Customer Feedback API that returns review and return insights such as topics. It is designed around aggregated customer-feedback insights, not a general public endpoint for downloading every review body for any ASIN. It also requires developer authorization and supported roles. Treat it as a separate integration project, not as a CSV button hidden inside Seller Central.
When to use an AMZShark export
Use AMZShark when the job is to search and export review rows available for your own products, competitor ASINs, or a defined product set. A Product Search can contain up to 1,000 ASINs from one marketplace. Filter its rows by text, star rating, and discovery date, then follow the Amazon product review download and export guide for CSV, Excel, JSON, JSONL, or Parquet.
A practical decision rule
| Question | Best starting point |
|---|---|
| What are customers saying about my registered brand? | Seller Central Customer Reviews. |
| What service or fulfillment issues affect my seller account? | Seller Feedback reports. |
| Which feedback topics are rising at ASIN or category level? | Voice of the Customer or Customer Feedback API. |
| Which review rows mention a defect across my products and competitors? | AMZShark Product Search or Keyword Search export. |
Keep the dataset auditable
Record the marketplace, ASIN list, export filters, export date, and source tool. Preserve review URLs when available. This keeps a spreadsheet traceable when listings merge, titles change, or reviews disappear later.
